Their mad and bad world: they turn truth on its head

The case of the stabbing to death of Henry Nowak and how he was dealt with by the police, is predictably being used by right-wing political minorities in this country to claim that the police are soft on blacks and hard on whites.

However, it's quite obvious that this is utter nonsense. As for the police reaction, or lack of it in this terrible case - apparently they didn't even have the "ability" to notice that the young man lying on the ground in front of them was dying of blood loss in front of their very eyes.

They handcuffed him. But not out of anti-white racism nor pro-black bias, but out of a serious lack of consciousness - and conscientiousness. And it is, unfortunately, quite typical police behaviour. If anything, it shows their careless contemptuousness of (all) youth.

Predictably Nigel Farage and his followers have seized on this case as a great political opportunity to pronounce a "grievance". It's all about them: "poor" white victim-hood and "put upon" whites... They blame DEI - "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" policies which the police and everyone else is meant to put into practice... which they claim is "political correctness gone mad" - but actually it's just advocating basic decency towards fellow human beings... Even if, in reality, it's just tokenism.

Things went so far as the Home Secretary feeling she had to make a statement in the House of Commons, to reiterate that "everyone is equal under the law"... apparently hoping to de-escalate the situation which Farage et al were (and are) blowing up. Of course even Mahmood knows very well that "equality under the law", is not weighted against whites, but weighted for them - and it always was.

Remember the SUSS laws?

What wasn't widely circulated in the media yesterday, was the story of the 12-year old black kid from Sevenoaks in Kent, who along with 4 friends was handcuffed by the police on 25 May this year. The boys had found a discarded "stop-go" sign and were playing a game with it. The local cops found this "suspicious"...

And yes, there is a law which protects cops who choose to actin this racist way. Not only the so-called "suss" laws, but a law allowing anyone of any age to be handcuffed. The statistics on the implementation of these "suss" laws (available on gov.org!) are very revealing. Black and brown people (unfairly, according to Farage?) get almost all the attention!

If you are black, you are 4 times more likely to be stopped and searched by the cops. In certain parts of London this jumps to 48 times more likely! So there are approximately 24.5 "stop and searches" for every 1,000 black people, compared to just 5.9 for every 1,000 white people.

Then there's Section 60 "Suspicionless Searches" which, as the name implies, allows searches without reasonable suspicion. A "furtive look" might be enough to initiate a search. And black people are 7 times more likely to be targeted than white people. When it comes to strip-searching - it's 8 times more likely!

Twelve-year-old Reuben, from Sevenoaks, had already been told by his father that one day he might find that the cops would stop and search him. His dad was just a bit surprised that it had happened to his son at such an early age. But it happened to him when he was a teenager and happened to his own father, too. For black people it's so normal they don't even complain about it.

Turning the world left-side up

These days, lies on every issue under the sun - including racism - have become "acceptable truths", peddled by politicians. And above all of them looms Donald J Trump - the "victim" supreme! His term of office began with him claiming that America had been victimised and treated "very badly" by everyone! So retaliatory tariffs were imposed against countries around the world. It was "America First" - and never mind that the US has been first since WW1 and remains so!

Truth is truly on its head. The latest exploiter of the USA is Brazil. Comparative GDPs are Brazil=$2.64 trillion and the USA=$30.51 trillion. But never mind that, the US is now also a "victim" of Brazil. Victims have become perpetrators and vice versa. And it even justifies war: Israel and the US versus the Palestinians; Israel and the US versus the Iranians and Shia Lebanese.

It's a sign of the utter degeneration of the world's political and economic system. Overturning it - the task facing the working class - is the only way humanity will have a future. But it's also the only way to get our sanity back!
