A "peace" plan for Gaza proposed by Trump and guaranteed by B-liar?
The Israeli state's war on Gaza's population under the pretext of "exterminating Hamas" - as if they were some kind of infestation - should never have begun. The IDF already took its revenge against the Hamas terror attack on 7 and 8 October 2023.
It's obvious that what has followed - the systematic and relentless destruction of Gaza's cities and killing of civilians - was aimed to collectively punish ordinary Palestinians for their "crime" of being Palestinian. It was also obvious that the IDF could never annihilate Hamas.
So yes, the Israeli state, as perpetrator, must stop its one-sided "war". And of course, it is - and always has been - up to the US state to call the shots - or to stop them. Without its backing Netanyahu could never have conducted his "war".
Trump has therefore announced a 20-point "Peace Plan". t's "potentially one of the great days ever in civilization", said he, patting pal "Bibi"on the back, just to "clarify" who was being strung along by whom...
The plan offers no guarantees for the Palestinians and no Palestinian was consulted when it was drawn up. After all, they're an inferior colonial, occupied people... Netanyahu even confirmed that there's no way "Israel" was going to recognise a Palestinian state. So if Hamas - which is supposed to disarm itself and get out of the Strip - rejects this "Plan", it will be no surprise.
As for point number 9, naming Tony Blair as a co- supervisor with Trump on a "Board of Peace," this is symptomatic of the complete bankruptcy of the US-led world political "leadership" today! B-liar, also known as the "Bloody Butcher of Iraq", for his role, "shoulder-to- shoulder" with US President George W Bush in the invasion of lrag in 2003, complimented Trump on a "bold and intelligent" plan... No wonder.
The Palestinian people can certainly come up with their own (truly!) bold and intelligent plan for their future - but for that to happen they'd need the backing of the working class of the region and beyond, forging an independent leadership. Building towards this is a task all workers can begin today.
